Operations Abroad Worldwide required a new website design and build which needed to reflect the three core principles of the company: Quality, Accessibility and Service.
Due to the nature of the business, offering operations and treatments outside of the UK, imagery and testimonials would need to play a vital role on the homepage to engage and reassure customers of the full process and the level of care patients can expect to receive when using Operations Abroad Worldwide.
The site would require bespoke functionality for a GP login for healthcare professionals to upload patient data as well as an easy, efficient way to manage patient information by staff in the backend of the website.
With such a vast amount of information available for prospective patients, one requirement was to ensure that the site content was delivered in an easily digestible way. This would ensure that users were able to navigate around the site with ease to access important information regarding care packages, hospitals and other vital information such as recovery times and insurance.
What we delivered
The site design needed to have a corporate feel to reflect the nature of the business, without looking too clinical.
Frank achieved this by using a mixture of typefaces and welcoming imagery to portray a trusted establishment at the forefront of overseas healthcare, with over 15 years experience providing professional services to patients.
Advanced functionality allowed Operations Abroad Worldwide to improve efficiencies in their services by implementing a bespoke GP login area for the management of patient data. Frank also introduced a ‘mega menu’ to replace the standard navigation to ensure that large amounts of information for potential patients did not become unwiedly and guaranteed a successful user experience with users locating information quickly and easily.
The site needed to be ready to launch at the 2014 Health Care Plus exhibition show at the Excel in London. Frank worked tirelessly to deliver a high-quality website within the tight deadline and were on standby to offer technical support to the client on the day.
A true testament to the strength of the new website is that since its completion, Frank have gone on to work in partnership with the organisation to design a number of marketing materials for Operations Abroad Worldwide, from brochures and leaflets, to assisting with the promotion of the business at large health care shows through the production of designs for their exhibition stands.
