Footprint Recruitment approached Frank requiring a brand new design and build as they felt their current website was outdated in terms of style and content, and didn’t reflect their reach in the construction sector beyond the North West.
The website would need to be easy to navigate for users but also simple to manage so that regular updates could be made to job vacancies, as well as having a fresh, bold and modern look.
What we delivered
Together with the client, Frank discussed likes and dislikes of the existing website to really understand the requirements needed for the new design.
Footprint wanted a modern feel which would reflect not only their vast experience in the industry but also the new changes they were implementing as a business - including their expansion into the London and Home Counties regions.
To achieve this we simplified the design, making it much cleaner and focused on strong, location-based imagery to portray their recent growth.
Frank worked with Footprint to help utilise their site content and display it in a user friendly way by implementing 'accordion' functionality across the site. Another priority was to find a more intuitive way to showcase job vacancies than the current system they had in place. To do this, we created a page list of live vacancies, making it more engaging for the user by adding ‘share’ and ‘refer a friend’ buttons.
The full brief and site specifications were delivered using a combination of an initial scoping session and collaborative meetings. Following a successful go-live process, Frank continue to support Footprint 6 months on.
